In view of the above information, it is important that UPS systems are properly sized. When this is not the case, and the system is oversized, there are unnecessary power losses and excess weight. This can be dangerous due to the loading of equipment failures when this occurs. Oversized power actually reduces efficiency since it operates at a constant loading level which is not required.
